June 14, 2006 Fartman: Caught In a Tight Ass starts airing on Howard Stern In Demand! It is in the section called "In the Vault" in the episode named "Film Fest: Howard". This is a collection of the four best Howard Stern films not included in the festival. Our film is first, and it is the only Fartman movie. In fact, Fartman - Caught In A Tight Ass is the very first live action Fartman movie ever to receive distribution.
April 20, 2006 In Demand told us that our film was one of their favorites, but that we were disqualified for using union members. However, they may include the film as part of their "Best of the Rest" films.
April 19, 2006 In Demand called to qualify us as a finalist for the festival, but when they asked us about guild members, Joe told the truth.
April 17, 2006 Howard returned from vacation to report that they received over 2,200 films, and there would be only eight finalists.
April 7, 2006 Fartman: Caught In A TIght Ass goes out via Fedex to In Demand.
April 4, 2006 Joe reads the rules for the first time! It says clearly on Page One - no guild members can be involved in the movie!!
April 4, 2006 Tammy reads a post on the internet that says that films submitted to the festival cannot have any union people in or involved in the movie.
April 3-6, 2006 Jonathan Wareham works on the sound editing.
March 23-April 3, 2006 Alexander Enberg works on special effects, as Joe and Tammy continue tweaking the editing, and Tim Labor composes the score.
March 20-22, 2006 Tammy play hooky from work to edit the movie.

March 14, 2006 Tammy sits down to read the rules of the festival, and Joe says forget it, I need help building props. Tammy does not read the rules.

March 10, 2006 The cast has a second rehearsal.
March 5, 2006 The cast assembles for a first read-through and rehearsal.
March 4, 2006 With Associate Producer Brian Tate Murray, Joe and Tammy went up to the roof of their complex to shoot the Fartman flying effect.
Late February, 2006 Joe and Tammy cut the script down to 6 pages, and assemble a cast and crew.
February 23 Joe downloads the rules from Howard's website - but does not read them. This will be important later.
February 22, 2006 Howard announces the April 11 deadline for the festival, and states that each film must be under 5 minutes in length.
Mid February, 2006 Joe Gold and Tammy Caplan write a 15 page Fartman script about the origin of Fartman, and the creation of the villain, Tight Ass.
Early February, 2006 Howard Stern announces that he is going to have a film festival.
